Jane sends a rubarb re. the people's lobbyiest idea from last week's table discussion
I enjoyed the symposium and the cross currents. It makes me happy to read the songs of experience and innocence that find a place in the group. HOWEVER-paying a lobbyist is joining the prostitution of money for power. Power to the people!!! (Dates me, doesn't it?) No one can bring the passion to this plight who is paid for the privilege. I'd call everyone on the lobbyist list and ask him/her whom they represent. Openness or secrecy can be explored.
