Dear City Leadership,
I find it deplorable that as of July 1 the collection of green bin contents will be cut back to every other week. Studies have shown that participation by citizens is cut by a full third when every-other-week collection is instituted. Recycling is of vital and growing importance for our community and it is a false economy to cut back this popular program. We of the Lloyd House Weekly (circulation, 450 Cincinnatians) urge that you take steps immediately to restore weekly collection service.
