Reading Elizabeth Peters mystery novels about archeologists in Egypt. Cute! Same author is a real Egyptologist, and am also reading her layman's history of ancient Egypt, using her real name Barbara Mertz. Bought it in audio form to listen to on my iPod Touch as I fly to Cairo next week. Cool! She has absolutely no patience for the kind of folks who run the tour I am taking...believe in Atlantis, looking for "energies". But I am keeping an open mind. Ellen
