SECTION ONE: TABLE NOTES
Hi Everyone!
Well the World Choir Games were just wonderful! Cincinnati turned out in throngs to support it, to everyone's surprise, packing the house and selling out in many venues. All the auditoriums were lovely (Music Hall, SCPA, Aronoff, and... the Cincinnati Masonic Center next to the Taft Auditorium on E. Fifth St--who knew about that?) and the bus service was so impressive. Numerous, new, clean busses with friendly, helpful drivers on all the downtown routes and the special shuttle. The international guests were impressed, and what's great, the Cincinnati people were impressed with our city, and proud! Feels like having this event and the ringing success of it has made a real difference in the morale of the 'Nati. I just love it. Thank you Lori Quinlivin for branding us the City that Sings, and thank you City Council and Mayor Mallory for getting behind this.
Hugs to everyone!
Ellen
