IF YOU DON'T GET THE WHOLE VIRTUAL SALON, LOOK ONLINE HERE:
(although once there you may have to click on one of the vertical bars and wait until it loads... s l o w l y ...drat!)
reason probably is that our 1.7 mb file size is too large for your server, your computer's email settings or both.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note:  I never unsubscribe anyone unless they request.
If you should ever stop receiving the Virtual Salon,
it's because of a glitch in the email address.
Please send me an alert and I'll resubscribe you.  ellen

SECTION ONE: TABLE NOTES

Hi Everyone!
taken just now, working on the Virtual Salon

 Hi there!  As I prepare this issue of the Virtual Salon I am listening to the sound track of the youTube video about Dr Burzynski's cancer treatment.  Wow!  Chilling evidence of the suppression of medical research by the FDA.  Watch this.  Link below in "Got Cancer" announcement.
Hugs to everyone!

Ellen

SECTION TWO: ACTIVITIES, OPPORTUNITIES

===============================================================

      • CALLING ARTISTS AND WRITERS:  Participate in ARTS EVENT Next Friday, 27 April, Newport on Levee

        Hello Ellen,

Here is the facebook link for the event:
        https://www.facebook.com/events/315112581883775/

The event is at Newport on the Levee April 27th from 7-10 pm. This is an art show opening/fundraiser.

For performances: poems/written work no more than 10 minutes, dancers if possible.
For artwork: Any form/media is acceptable. It just needs to be gallery ready.
Contact: Art on the Levee Gallery 1 Levee Way Newport, KY 41071 859-261-5770 or email the gallery at artonthelevee@gmail.com for specifics for submissions/gallery specs.

We want as many artists (visual/performance) as possible. I want the volume of the the work to warrant news coverage.

Unless the work is sold, yes, the work will be returned after the show (full display is about 2 weeks). We are also asking that the artists donate 5-10% of the sale to the Red Cross VOAD Disaster Relief Fund, which will go toward aiding tornado victims/survivors.

Feel free to ask any more questions.

        Thanks,

        Gregg Walker
